China
China Plans Income Tax Reforms
It has been disclosed that China’s Ministry of Finance and the State Administration
of Taxation have a plan to reduce the incidence of individual income tax on low
to middle incomes, sometime during next year.
China Increases Export Tax On Rare Earths
Within a policy of regulating exports and protecting China’s natural resources,
the Ministry of Finance has disclosed that taxes will be raised on China’s
exports of rare earths, with effect from January 1, 2011.
