China Finalizes Shanghai Free Trade Zone Reforms
Before it was officially launched on September 29, China's State Council issued
the general plan for the country's first pilot free-trade zone in Shanghai
that will ease restrictions on renminbi convertibility, financial and insurance
services, trade and investment.
China Provides Tax Break For Solar Manufacturers
In an attempt to alleviate the over-supply of solar products in China, and develop
a domestic market as exports falter due to trade disputes, the Ministry of Finance
has announced that, from October 1, the solar industry will be provided with a
tax break.
