FATCA XML Schema Prohibited Characters There is an error in the FATCA XML Schema Best Practices web page related to the inclusion of entity references in FATCA XML documents.  To prevent file error notifications, please ensure your files do not include any of the characters mentioned in the FATCA XML Schema Best Practices web page. Also review the corrected FATCA IDES Technical FAQs C16 and C17. The FATCA XML schema reference documents will be updated to include these restrictions.
